Join us for a practical, three-day training designed for housing counselors in their first year of certification. This course builds on your foundational knowledge and focuses on strengthening core counseling skills through role-playing, case studies, and real-world scenarios. Participants are advised to bring information about their agencies to apply concepts directly to their day-to-day work. The training also explores practical strategies for serving diverse clients.

Led by Housing Action's Capacity Building Specialist Wanda Collins, who brings over 20 years of experience in loan origination and housing counseling.

Note: This training will be held at the same time as a Becoming a HECM-Certified Housing Counselor training, and participants will have the opportunity to attend a joint networking opportunity.
