Join our Career Path Summer Camp training with two sessions each day to learn what you need to start your housing counseling career and prepare for the HUD Individual Certification Exam. This certification qualifies you for employment at a HUD-approved housing counseling agency. Housing counselors work directly with families and individuals to help them improve their finances, rent apartments, navigate the homebuying process, and more. Counselors play a crucial role in helping people reach their housing goals — and housing counseling agencies in Illinois and across the country are hiring now.

Our Housing Action Training Center brings a robust lineup of national trainings to equip housing counselors with the skills and knowledge to help individuals and families find and keep good homes.
