Housing counselors work directly with families and individuals to help them improve their finances, rent apartments, navigate the homebuying process, and more. Counselors play a crucial role in helping people reach their housing goals and stabilizing our communities, especially during challenging economic times. Join the Road to HUD Certification (formerly known as the Housing Counseling Career Path), a comprehensive training with two sessions each day, to learn what you need to start your housing counseling career and prepare for the HUD Individual Certification Exam. This certification qualifies you for employment at a HUD-approved housing counseling agency.
