In times of crisis, housing counselors can be a critical source of support for their communities. This immersive, week-long virtual training empowers counselors with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to lead before, during, and after disaster strikes. Across five dynamic and interactive sessions, participants will gain practical strategies for pre-disaster planning, learn how to navigate FEMA and recovery resources, and explore ways to build long-term community resilience. From preparedness to recovery, this intensive equips you to be a trusted guide for your clients when they need it most.

Our Housing Action Training Center brings a robust lineup of national trainings to equip housing counselors with the skills and knowledge to help individuals and families find and keep good homes.
