In this training, we aim to equip housing counseling agencies with essential tools to ensure staff and client safety across various service settings. We will identify safety risks for both in-person and online interactions and discuss how to create comprehensive safety plans. Participants will learn to optimize workspace layouts, implement privacy best practices, recognize warning signs of mental health concerns, and devise formal safety strategies. Our goal is to foster a safety-conscious culture, empowering agencies to navigate emergency situations, establish boundaries, and collaborate effectively with local authorities for a comprehensive safety framework.
