This course is designed for agencies that are ready to begin offering Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) counseling. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of HUD’s standards and requirements for HECM counseling, including HUD’s HECM roster requirements, filing requirements, and other counseling protocols. We will provide step-by-step guides for the full HECM counseling process—from intake to follow-up—ensuring participants are equipped to deliver compliant, high-quality services.
