About the Presenter
Timm Krueger has been a Marketing & Communications Consultant at Housing Action Illinois since 2017. He works with housing counselors and their agencies to implement communications strategies, train employees, and build capacity without sacrificing their main job functions. Since joining HAI, Timm has produced seven marketing trainings and workshops, each of which were created with small nonprofits in mind.
Prior to joining Housing Action, Timm was a Senior Marketing and Communications Associate at SmithBucklin, the country’s largest association management company. He got his start in the affordable housing industry as the Community Relations Manager at the Peoria Housing Authority in Peoria, Ill. In 2012, Timm graduated with a B.A. in political science from the University of Iowa where he was on the varsity men’s gymnastics team. He is currently pursuing his master’s in strategic communication, also at the University of Iowa.
